Twenty-five years in numbers, from Vimarsh's own 25th-anniversary report — the figures below are as published, each tied to the year and programme it comes from.
A small number of figures are confirmed as active areas of Vimarsh's work, but not yet broken out as a published number. Each will move up to the confirmed section above once the Vimarsh team supplies it (edit this list at Vimarsh Settings).
Vimarsh works across these five development blocks of Nainital district — roughly 85 villages carry a Vimarsh collective, children's group, library or savings group. Childline 1098 operates district-wide, beyond these five blocks.
| Block | Programmes active |
|---|---|
| Betalghat block | Aagaz, Hope for Children, Tarang (partial), Voice of Children |
| Bhimtal block | Aagaz, Tarang |
| Kotabagh block | Tarang |

Vimarsh's core, longest-standing area of operation extends across 50 Gram Panchayats and 70 villages in the Bhimtal, Betalghat and Kotabagh blocks of Nainital district. Within the wider 5-block, 85-village footprint below, this is where Vimarsh's own community-based institutions are most established.
A geographic map will be added once block/village boundaries are confirmed with the Vimarsh team.
Verified numbers build trust faster than impressive-sounding ones. If you're part of the Vimarsh team, the fastest way to strengthen this page is to fill the gaps above at Vimarsh Settings.
