Support a child's education
The issue
Rural children in these villages have had uneven access to quality, inclusive education, learning materials, and pathways into higher or vocational education, particularly for girls from families under financial strain.
Why it matters
Without material support and encouragement at key transition points, promising students — especially girls — often can't continue.
What we do
Provides study materials and education support to children from economically weaker families; runs activities on gender equality, hygiene, health and nutrition, child rights and child protection through children's groups; operates a computer centre teaching basic computer skills and safe internet use; awards scholarships to girls for higher/vocational study.

Children and adolescent girls in the programme's villages.
How it works
A standing computer/digital-literacy centre; direct provision of school materials to 25 children; a scholarship mechanism for girls moving into diploma/vocational courses.
Geographic reach
4 villages, Betalghat block, Nainital district.

- 4 girls awarded scholarships (2 Polytechnic, 2 GNM/nursing)
